Um, it's a green dropping boss and noone can solo it now... for now at least... Rotscale is surrounded by lvl 24 dragons, archers, necrid horsemen and many other things now and it is a necro now that uses FoC with 198 damage...

Found it really hard. Tried on my invinci monk just now, the problem is they use spells that sap all my energy which means i cant keep my enchantments up. Anyone know how to kill the new version solo?

HEHEHEHEHE well first everyone cpmplained that he never drops anything important, now he does but is almost impossible to solo, wd Anet. They just gave us another challange. Also as soon as you cross the bridge you get those raiths popping up. Is a hard fight at the moment. Hope there is a solo build for this..

Same as in Factions, I have a build that can clean all the targets away from Sunreach, but his group does not let him out of their site, so impossible to solo Sunreach for his shield

Anyway that is what makes soloing and making builds fun right, not so much the drops but the challange

It's a deathtrap.. You step across the bridge and get posion.. then get nailed with so many spells and arrows you die... plus you can even rez there...

it cant be solo'd he has been surrounded by 4 rotting dragons, 2 skeleton warriors and 2 damned clerics, no way a simple warrior can solo that. stop trying

I'd say it's worth going with guildies and seeing if you can do the farm. Also...3-man is going to be much more efficient now considering how many baddies are surrounding ol' Rottie.

I like your attitude - the only part of PvE I enjoy is soloing (or attemting to solo) tough areas that require a degree of thought and some measure of skill. I don't think I'll be able to manage this one on my own though.

well I'm just like that, if at first you don't succeed then I will try again untill I get it right or die trying

And at the moment I have been doing a lot of the latter part (DYING) with old Rotty

He must have a weaknes somewhere, and sooner or later someone will find it

Anyway guys good hunting

I also looked at the three man posibility, looks like it will work. So maybe ill get that down, then try a two man, then se if there is a slight gap for a solo.

well, i know with melandrus reslience warrior you can stay alive for a LONG time, i lasted 10 minutes, but i couldn't damage him :'(

If you are having trouble staying alive in this, try getting a spirit spamming ritualist in your team, their protections are ideal for Rotscale.

I don't see a solo, at least not one that can kill him in under a few hours. Too many enemies... Maybe some sort of Obsidian Flesh + Serpent's Quickness + Quickening Zephyr? I dunno...
